lean architect
Lean Architect will help your firm using technology that increases your efficiency. Use the saved time and money to improve your design and make it sustainable and data driven, or simply enjoy the increased profit.
AI
The best AI results come from the best data. Here at Lean Architect, we first gather and analyze your data. If your data is free of human error and your design is backed up with data, you are ready to use AI. We will happily help you convert your diagrams to drawings, linework to renderings, and data tables to geometries.
However, if your data is not ready, we will equip your firm with our task-based and process-based scripts. We will help you reduce human error, increase your design quality, and make your process more efficient. This will make your data ready for AI in your personal UI.
Your data is secure and will always belong to you. Lean Architect will only assist you in gathering the information to train your system.
Task-Based Scripts
Many architectural firms comprise multiple studios that each focus on different typologies like aviation, data centers, commercial buildings, etc. Because each typology requires its own unique process and time frame, it may seem impossible to unify these different processes. But Lean Architect can do just that. We will break up the different processes into tasks that are shared across all typologies to help make your firm more efficient and your documentation process more accurate.
Process-Based Scripts
Although different studios have similar tasks (e.g., door-tagging), each studio also has tasks that are unique to their projects and involve test fits to check the design logistics. These test fits are contingent on the architect manually doing the work, which is incredibly time-consuming and results in only a few iterations being tested. Lean Architect’s technology changes that. Our code can create an unlimited amount of iterations for you in no time at all to ensure that you can consider all design aspects and create the best data-driven design solution.
ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Tania Madah
Lean Architect’s story began with designer and businesswoman Tania Madah. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology (Jame University, Iran), Tania moved from her small town in Iran to Dubai where her passion for architecture was first sparked while in school for an MBA (Wollongong University). From there, she moved to Toronto to earn a degree in Architectural Technology (George Brown College, Toronto) and then pursued a master’s degree in Architecture (The University of Texas at Arlington). She also received a master’s degree in Agile Project Management (Harrisburg University of Science & Technology, Pennsylvania).
While working for architectural firms, Tania realized that architects are still doing the majority of the tedious, manual tasks that make each project incredibly time-consuming. Seeing this resource gap in project management, and equipped with knowledge of the modern lean process used in car manufacturing and other fields, Tania created codes that architects can use to automate those laborious tasks that are subject to human error and must be completed with limited time and energy.
As a designer, Tania has always been a creative problem-solver. Lean Architect was built on the experience and expertise of an architect who has worked on data centers, multifamily buildings, single family buildings, parking garages, office buildings, aviation centers, and more. You can trust that she knows the processes of these studios; she has seen firsthand the gaps and issues in these processes and created tools that can be integrated smoothly and will collaborate with your architects to mitigate these gaps. Because there are so many tedious tasks that architects must manually do, they lose time that could be used to comprehensively study their designs, make them more sustainable, or think and gather data about the user experience. However, with Lean Architect, the time spent on the tedious tasks is drastically cut down as the technology completes them faster and more accurately, so you can spend time on what matters most for your design. This is technology that Tania uses and stands by, and she wants to share it with you.
Lean Architect’s Commitments
We respect your work and the lasting impact of your work. We respect the people who will be occupying your buildings and the people involved in every aspect of making the buildings. We respect the earth and strive to contribute to a more sustainable future.
We’ll work with architects, engineers, developers, manufacturers (and more) everywhere who manually complete tasks that–with our technology–can instead be completed 100% accurately in just a click of a button. You may have used other tools before that do the work for you but override your process and do not have the human mind and heart behind it, but Lean Architect is different. We will never override your process or your architects/designers; we are a collaborative tool that works with you and will seamlessly integrate into your workflow.
Our technology provides codes that are localized for each firm. We will study your firm for 2 weeks so that we can customize the workflow and slowly weave our technology into your process. Lean Architect is a collaborative tool that puts people first; we will put your employees, designs, and processes into the highest consideration and then will customize the workflow to support your work.

No, Lean Architect can help any firm or adjacent designer or engineer that does Construction Documentation and more: structural, developers, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, interiors, landscape, civil, manufacturers, and many more.
Yes, the goal is to improve the process in the field. Technology is just a tool, like our pens and pencils, to help us improve. We will use any needed technology to achieve our goal, including AI.
Not at all. We will comfortably merge our technology with your process. At no point will we override the design or the flow of the process.
Yearly prices include a two-week study and data-gathering on your firm as well as all task-based, process-based, and project-based scripts. Additionally, it includes employee training and deployment of the scripts to the firm.
Yes, if your firm has a specific studio or process, or if we find a specific need during the two-week analysis of your firm, we will develop specific tools to meet your firm’s unique needs.
Yes, you can pick individual scripts and we are open to providing them to your firm. Please make an appointment and we will be happy to discuss the details.
Our contracts are valid for one year. However, we break down the charge into monthly payments.
Lean is a concept or way of thinking that focuses on eliminating waste and streamlining processes to save time, space, materials, and money. The “lean concept” originated in Venice in the 1450s and was famously used by car manufacturers in the 1900s. The company Toyota “leaned” their process and invested the saved time and money to improve their engine design. Ford also used the lean concept to reduce their production costs and provide more affordable cars to the masses. Today, the lean concept is vastly used in manufacturing, IT, accounting, sales, marketing, HR, and operations. Lean Architect recognized a similar need for efficiency in architectural processes; the traditional process of documentation is filled with waste that can be eliminated through technology that is available today. We combined the idea of the lean concept, the needs of the field, and technology to innovate methods that save time and money, which can then be used to produce sustainable, data-driven design solutions. We are Lean Architects.
